Bonus Bonds are a unique and exciting way of saving with chances of winning tax-free cash prizes each and every month - including the grand prize of $1 MILLION, two prizes of $100,000 and three prizes of $50,000. Plus multiple prizes of $20, $50, $100, $500 AND $5,000!

The mix of prizes in a month may vary. The mix of major prizes will include no less than one $1 MILLION prize, one $100,000 prize and one $50,000 prize.

How it works

The more Bonus Bonds you have, the more chances you have to win. As an example, $20 in Bonus Bonds gives you 20 chances to win and $5,000 in Bonus Bonds gives you 5,000 chances to win.

Your Bonus Bonds are first eligible for the monthly prize draws when you have held them for a complete calendar month following their purchase date and a minimum purchase of $20 applies.

How to buy

Buying Bonus Bonds for the first time

When you buy Bonus Bonds for the first time, you’ll need to become a bondholder and buy a minimum of $20 worth of Bonus Bonds, either;

By visiting your nearest ANZ branch with a completed Bonus Bonds application form (PDF 1.75MB) and personal ID.

Buying more Bonus Bonds

If you are an existing bondholder you can buy more Bonus Bonds in a number of ways (a minimum purchase of $20 apply):

Log on to ANZ Internet Banking (add Bonus Bonds as a biller via Securemail)

Set up an Automatic Payment (PDF 100kB)
